SPORT NANO – INNOVATIVE KNITWEAR

For more than one season the capsule collections of knitwear sweaters and accessories by Russian brand Norsoyan are made of high-tech wool Sport Nano. Austrian company Schoeller is a developer of innovative materials for the production of military equipment, clothing for explorers, firemen, climbers, divers, geologists. 

This Sport Nano wool contains integrated nano-particles of Teflon, which does not pass water molecules. That is why these models do not get wet in the snow or rain.

Also models made of wool with integrated Teflon molecules are resistant to fire and deformations. They are hypoallergenic and have a self-cleaning effect.

In 1938 this polymer was synthesized by chemist Roy Plunkett in the laboratory DuPont. This polymer is resistant to any chemicals, sunlight and large temperature fluctuations. At first it was used in military and aerospace industries: Teflon suits astronauts costumes better. Today Teflon is used in many fields including fashion: it protects the clothes from dirt, stains and liquids without damage to their appearance, colors, tactile sensations and breathability of the fabric.
